Max AI Mobile App Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 9, 2026

This policy describes what data the Max AI mobile app (the “App”) of the MaxGPT service (maxgpt.ru) processes and how that data is used. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: your email address and name (when you register or sign in), and your avatar if you uploaded one. If you sign in with Apple we receive an identifier and an email address from Apple; if you chose to hide it, we only ever see the relay address.
  • User content: the text of your messages, uploaded files and images, voice recordings (for transcription), and the generated replies, images and video. Content is stored so that you can come back to your chats and files.
  • Technical data: subscription and credit balance details, the device language and model, the operating system and app version, and anonymous stability and performance metrics.
  • Notification token: if you allow notifications, the device gives us an Apple push service token. It is used only to tell you that a generation or an answer is ready, and it is removed when you sign out.
  • App feedback: if you send us feedback about the App, the app version, the language and the vendor identifier (identifierForVendor) travel with your message. That identifier is issued by the system per developer, has nothing to do with advertising and cannot be used to recognize you in other companies’ apps.

2. How we use the data

  • to provide the App’s features: chatting with AI, generating images and video, speech recognition, reading text aloud, keeping your history;
  • to keep track of the subscription and credit usage;
  • to notify you when a result is ready;
  • to support users and answer their requests;
  • to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

3. Camera, microphone and photos

The App asks for access only when an action needs it: the microphone for voice input and for recording audio to transcribe, the camera to take a photo to attach to a message, and the photo library to save a result into it. Picking an image goes through the system photo picker: the App receives only the file you chose and has no access to the rest of your library. Recordings and pictures are sent to the service’s servers only as part of your request.

The App does not ask for your location or contacts, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not track you across other apps or websites, so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown.

4. Sharing with third parties

  • AI model providers. To produce an answer, the request is passed to a model: directly to OpenAI and DeepSeek, some models through the OpenRouter aggregator, and image and video generation through fal.ai. Speech recognition and text-to-speech run on OpenAI models. Only the material of the request is passed on; your email and name are not. We do not hand your data over for model training.
  • Analytics and crash reports. Usage, stability and performance metrics are collected with Firebase (Google): Analytics, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring. The only thing attached to an event is an internal account identifier — no name, no email address, no message text and no file contents ever reach analytics. Advertising identifier support is switched off.
  • Notifications. Push notifications are delivered by the Apple Push Notification service.
  • Payments. Subscriptions are paid for on the website and processed by the payment provider. Card details are handled by that provider — they never reach us and we do not store them.

We do not sell personal data, do not share it with data brokers and do not use it for third-party marketing.

5. Storage and security

Data is stored on the service’s protected servers. Access to it is restricted and it travels over encrypted channels (TLS). The device keeps your session key (in the system Keychain) and a cache of your chat history locally; both are deleted when you sign out.

Chats are private by default. If you share one by link, its contents become available to anyone who has that link; access can be closed again in the same place it was opened.

6. Deleting data and your rights

  • you can delete individual chats, files or the whole history in the App: the content is removed from the service, and the internal copy used to clear the search index is deleted within 30 days;
  • you can delete your account from the App’s settings: access ends and the profile is anonymized — the email address, the password and the links to sign-in providers are removed;
  • records of payments and charges are kept after the account is deleted, as accounting and tax rules require;
  • you can ask for details about the data we process, or for your content to be deleted in full, by writing to support.

7. Children

The App is not intended for anyone under 13 years of age.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the current version is always available on this page. We will announce material changes in the App or on the website.
